What you need to join
- Your NIN (National Identification Number)
- A selfie, which is compared with your ID photo
- Proof of your skills or experience, such as photos of past work or a reference
- A Nigerian bank account for your payouts
- An Android phone to run the Tasker app
Joining is free. Pros who pass the checks get an ID-checked badge on their profile.
How work comes to you
Sign up in the app
Open Tasker, tap Find work on Tasker and complete the checks.
Set your trade and area
Choose your services, your base area in Lagos, how far you travel and your working days.
Accept jobs or send quotes
Fixed-price requests show the job and what you earn; you have 15 minutes to accept. For other jobs you send a quote.
Do the job, get paid
The customer gives you a start code when you arrive. When they tap Job done, the job price is released to your bank account.
What you earn
- You keep the full job price. The customer pays Tasker's 10% service fee on top.
- The customer pays before you set off, so there is no chasing money after the job.
- Parts the customer approves in the chat are paid for separately.
- If a customer does not respond after you mark a job finished, it completes on its own after 48 hours.
- Optional paid plans with extra features are shown in the app. You do not need one to start.

How do I become a Tasker pro?
Download the app, choose Find work on Tasker, and complete the checks: your NIN, a selfie and proof of your skills or experience. Joining is free.
How do pros get paid?
The customer pays into Tasker before the job. When they tap Job done, the job price is released to the pro's bank account. Tasker does not take a commission out of the job price.
Can I choose when I work?
Yes. You set your working days and how far you travel, and you can switch Taking jobs on or off in the app.
What if a customer cancels late?
If a customer cancels after the cut-off time shown in the app, or once you are on the way, a cancellation fee applies and most of it goes to you.
